Volunteer at the MOC

The MOC can accommodate groups of up to 30 volunteers for extended periods of time. The MOC has two large kitchens as well as bathrooms and showers. Volunteer groups are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. To cover utility costs, RAIL encourages groups to donate $8 per person per day spent at the MOC.

We generally assign service projects according to RAIL’s current programming needs, but we can adjust to fit special requests to work in specific areas (eg historic preservation or healthy lifestyles).

To learn more about visiting the MOC from out of town, e-mail us. Wyoming County residents, including high school students with graduation service requirements, please give us a call at 304-294-6188.

I need to earn 50 Volunteer Hours before the end of May. Would that be possible if I were to volunteer at the MOC?
